A Parks Master Plan Public Information Centre will be at the Galt Arena Gardens (98 Shade St.) on Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 9 am to 12 noon to gather input specifically on accessibility and inclusion aspects of our parks like accessible playgrounds, best practices, examples from other municipalities, amenities, etc. Information on draft accessibility standards and a series of questions will be provided in order to gather feedback.

We will be seeking input from 50+ older adults on their impressions of parks, safety, and amenities. Please visit our booth and let us know your thoughts about parks.
The City of Cambridge 50+ Recreation Centres in partnership with the Older Adult Centres’ Association of Ontario and with funding provided by the Government of Ontario are pleased to host the 50+ Active Living Fair. This fair is a public education initiative developed for older adults to increase awareness about the programs and services available, knowledge on healthy aging and lifestyles and recognition of the contributions of older adults.

Survey #2 asks about your local park - what you like, what could use improvement - as well as your feelings of safety and how you would generally rate amenities you find in parks across the city. The survey will close October 1, 2023

Can’t Make It to this Public Meeting?
We’re just getting started! There will be another Public Meeting and Survey in May. In the meantime, consider providing your input through the survey that will be open until March 31.
