How to get involved

Community workshop #1

Join us June 5 from 7 to 8:30pm at Westheights Public School (429 Westheights Drive) for a community workshop. No registration is needed and it is free to attend.

You will have the chance to:

  • Create a community vision for the natural area
  • Help set key directions and priorities for the natural area

Can't make it? After the workshop, we will share the presentation materials on this project page and you can add your feedback online instead. Subscribe for updates to be notified when those materials are available. Add your email to the Stay Informed box and click 'Subscribe'.

Add to iNaturalist

To effectively manage and restore this area, we are gathering data to understand the current conditions of the flora (plant life) and fauna (animals) using iNaturalist.

Create a free account, then take and upload images of any flora and fauna you see in the Westheights Park Natural Area. They will be automatically added to our data base for the area. Even after this project is complete, you can continue to use iNaturalist to share and explore observations of the natural area. To see all the photos, visit our project Westheights Park Natural Area.
