Wellbeing WR is running a 2022 Community Wellbeing Mini-Survey to better understand the current state of community wellbeing and inequities in Waterloo Region after more than 2 years into the COVID-19 pandemic. The survey is a collaborative effort between local organizations, municipalities (including the Region of Waterloo) and community members to ensure it is reflective of the people who live in Waterloo Region. The data from this survey will be used by municipalities and organizations to improve their services and direct future planning.
The survey is being administered by the Canadian Index of Wellbeing (CIW) based in the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences at the University of Waterloo. It is based on eight domains that the CIW has identified as critical to our overall wellbeing: community vitality, healthy populations, democratic engagement, the environment, leisure and culture, education, living standards, and time use.
The survey is confidential and takes approximately 20-25 minutes to complete. After participating in the survey you will be directed to enter a draw to win a variety of prizes valued at $25-$500! Some of the prizes include a St. Jacobs Staycation and gift cards to many local businesses.
The survey ends on November 14th 2022, and the final report will be available on the Wellbeing WR website in early 2023.
