How to get involved
There are many different ways for your to share your feedback on the proposed map and signage:
- Answer the survey
- Attend a workshop on wheels
- Visit us at the Gaukel Block Party
- Ask a question
Survey
Can’t make one of our in-person pop-ups or workshops? Our survey is available online until Oct. 25, 2024. It gives you more detail about what we’re proposing. Then it asks you to review and give your feedback on some draft materials. It only takes 10 minutes to answer.
Workshop on Wheels
Join our upcoming in-person Workshop on Wheels this fall:
Tuesday, Oct. 22
5:30 to 7 p.m.
Starting at the Victoria Park Pavillion
Ride your bike with us along Route 1 (the pink route) out to the Boardwalk. The ride is 6km in length. City staff will collect feedback along the way. This will inform improvements as we prepare to open the route in 2025. There will be food at The Boardwalk Station when you arrive. Free to attend. All ages welcome.
Join us at the Kitchener 2051 Block Party
Interested in learning more about the wayfinding strategy? Find us at the Kitchener 2051 Block Party!
Saturday, Oct. 5
12 to 6 p.m.
Gaukel Block (44 Gaukel Street)
Join us for fun fall day with neighbours! There will be interactive activities for all ages, along with free food and entertainment. The Block Party kicks off an extensive community consultation on our new Official Plan, Kitchener 2051. We’ll be there to talk about the wayfinding strategy and how it connects with the City’s official plan. Find our booth and have a chat with our team.
