Report to Council approved June 14, 2021

Thank you to everyone who participated in our survey, and those who have provided comment on this project so far. A report to Waterloo council was presented and approved on June 14, 2021.

Staff will now engage in detail design and hire a contractor to implement the plans as per this report. It should be noted that during the detail design, some measures may need to be field-fitted or adjusted slightly. The design of the traffic calming devices will be completed this fall, with anticipated construction in the spring/summer of 2022. This timeline is due to the fact that there are infrastructure impacts that need to be addressed such as re-locating catch basins and extensive curb work.
