The Grand Family Scavenger Hunt

Gather your Team, lace up your shoes, grab your phone and get ready to discover the hidden treasures in your own backyard along the majestic Grand River.

This scavenger hunt is designed to do at whatever pace works best for your group: take a day or complete all the questions and challenges or space it out to last the whole summer! Also please note, you do not need to follow this scavenger hunt in any specific order, and you can always refer back to your map if you need any help finding locations.

Help us clean up the river! As you go long the Grand completing this scavenger hunt, pick up five pieces of trash, take a picture, and then responsibly dispose of the waste

Correctly answer all the questions and perform all the tasks listed in the sections below, and click submit on each section to be entered to win one of three great prizes! You must complete all sections to be eligible to win.

Sections can be completed during numerous sessions to save your progress.

There will be 3 Prizes available to be won.

• The first ballot drawn will be for a ”Young Family Canoe Trip - Breslau” (2 adults plus two children between 3 and 10 years) donated by Canoeing the Grand (approximate retail value of $154)
• The second ballot draw will be for Four passes to Tubing the Grand (approximate retail value of $120)
• The third ballot drawn will be for a year long Region of Waterloo Museums Family Membership (approximate retail value of $65)
