Application for general amendments to the Zoning Bylaw 2018-050 to create a new zoning category (Z-24-14)

The City of Waterloo’s Planning Division is advancing general amendments to the Zoning By-law 2018-050 to create a new Station Area Mixed-Use Employment zoning category. As part of the review of the City’s Official Plan, Staff are considering adding mixed-use residential uses to select employment areas throughout the City of Waterloo.

The purpose of this application will be to develop a new zoning category for station area mixed-use employment areas to implement the upcoming changes to the Official Plan.

The exact mix of uses and the subject areas will be determined through the Official Plan review process, and then refined through this Zoning By-law Amendment.
