There are exciting things being designed to reinvigorate Soper Park and community input is needed! An Amenity feature is being planned for future construction that will update the area currently known as the Kinsman Soper Park Pool.
A Public Information Centre (P.I.C.) took place for community outreach and engagement on November 10, 2022 from 3 pm until 8 pm at the Galt Arena, located at 98 Shade Street. The event was a drop-in style session held in the Alumni Room, on the second floor of the arena, with accessible access. A map showing the project site (red outline) and the P.I.C. location (red arrow) is shown below.
The Soper Park Amenity design survey was available to gather feedback from the community. This survey closed November 27. Results will now be collected and reviewed. All community input is valued and will help shape what the future of this space could look like.
