Alternative Design Options Survey

The City of Kitchener continues to work through the Environmental Assessment process for the Schneider and Shoemaker Creek Naturalization Project. Earlier this year, we chose alternative four as the preferred solution. Feedback from First Nations rights holders, the public, and project partners informed this choice. Alternative 4 includes a naturalization of the channel and banks of the creeks.

On Dec. 12, 2023 we hosted our third Public Information Centre for this project. At the open house we shared alternative design options for the preferred solution. We want to hear your thoughts about the alternative design options.

This survey will take 10-15 minutes to fill out. It closes Jan. 2, 2024.
