Progress update for Willis Way!

The City of Waterloo continues to work with a consultant team, led by SHIFT Landscape Architecture, to reimagine what the future of Willis Way could be. Through public engagement feedback received in early 2021 and further discussions with the UpTown Waterloo BIA and local businesses, it was determined that this work will happen once the overall feasibility study work is more refined. This change in schedule will allow for a more in-depth look at Willis Way to ensure all voices and considerations are heard and explored.

Preliminary concepts are currently being developed with the consultant team, but before they are posted here on Engage, there will be continuing discussions with local community groups. Stay tuned for updates.
