As Regional Chair, I (Karen Redman) will be hosting a series of informal community meetings and you're invited! If you have an interest in the programs and services at the Region of Waterloo, join the Community Roundtable.
I started the 'Regional Chair's Community Roundtable' because I want to meet with a variety of community members to discuss local issues. I believe last year's pilot Community Roundtable provided an opportunity for citizens to give me direct input about our region - providing me with insight about community priorities, concerns and needs as they relate directly to our jurisdiction (regional government).
On this page you'll find theTerms of Referencefor the roundtable. It will answer any questions you might have about taking part in a meeting. I'm planning three roundtable meetings this year, starting with the first on March 19, 2020. See key dates for a list of future meetings. They will be held in the evenings for no longer than two hours. If you'd like to participate in an upcoming roundtable meeting, please complete the application below and submit it online at your earliest convenience.

*All submissions will be acknowledged by the Regional Chair’s Office via direct email communication. We will invite 15 residents to each of the scheduled meetings based on availability. Participants will be contacted and provided details at least two weeks prior to their meeting date.
Each meeting will involve a variety of residents, representative of our community, including all the area municipalities.
After each roundtable meeting, I will share a summary of the issues discussed by posting the information under key documents. Be sure to subscribe to this page if you want to receive project updates.

The application form will take approximately five minutes to complete.
Personal
information on the Application form is being collected under the authority of
the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, c.302 (as amended), and will be used to select
participants for the Regional Chair’s Community Roundtable. Questions about
