Consultation has concluded

In the summer of 2017, council approved funding and the overall Queen Street Placemaking Plan. The Placemaking plan was developed with input from the public, and key stakeholders such as the downtown businesses.

When the contract was issued for tender, there were no bids within the council approved budget. Staff hopes to move forward with some improvements to Goudies Lane this year, however the rest of the improvements including to Vogelsang Green, Cenotaph Green and the Duke and Charles parketts will be re-tendered with the Queen Street reconstruction project in the fall of 2019 (for construction in 2020).
