Consultation has concluded
The Preston Auditorium Improvements and Expansion Project includes the design and construction of a new ice pad and related facility improvements at the Preston Auditorium.
The project will replace the aging Karl Homuth Arena, and increase rink capacity with the construction of a second NHL-sized ice pad. Improvements will also be made to the existing change rooms and ice resurfacing room. The existing Parks Services building will be demolished to accommodate the new addition to the arena. This project is part of a larger initiative to revitalize aging recreation facilities in the City of Cambridge.
The City of Cambridge is seeking your input on what's important to you in a new arena facility.
Public feedback will be shared at a future meeting of City Council and will help inform Council's decision-making.

Please note all design options are for discussion only and are subject to change. Project goals will be balanced with the requirement to complete work within approved budget and schedule expectations.
