The City of Cambridge has completed a Traffic Calming Assessment on Old Mill Road between Dickie Settlement Road and Blair Road (Study Corridor).
R. V. Anderson Associates Limited was selected to undertake the Study. The project is being completed in accordance with the steps outlined in the Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) Canadian Guide to Traffic Calming (2018). The guide separates the traffic calming process into five (5) stages; these stages are listed as follows:
Stage 1: Initiation
Stage 2: Development (We are Here)
Stage 3: Approval
Stage 4: Implementation
Stage 5: Evaluation
The study also includes a review of the effectiveness of the traffic calming plan on Old Mill Road up to 1-year after implementation.
