Thank you to those of you who joined us this summer at the open house on July 16, 2024, and those who filled out the design survey for Meadowlane Park. It was great to hear your feedback on the final design.

Common Themes

• Design: We heard general support for the final design option and appreciation for how it preserves the park's essence and supports wildlife and pollinators
• Amenities: You like the addition of natural seating and year-round trails
• Mount Frederick: We heard that Mount Frederick is an important year-round amenity, and you are happy to see it stay in the design
• Planting: You were supportive of the planting plan which includes more trees and native plants
• Maintenance: You would like to see regular maintenance of the pond and plantings once built
