Construction is starting!

We're excited to share that construction of the new multi-use-path is starting!

To safely accommodate the construction, there will be some temporary lane closures on Laurelwood Drive as well as temporary restricted access for some residents on the north side of Laurelwood Drive.

Residents and visitors of Birchmount Drive and Cedar Bend Place:

Access to Laurelwood Drive from Birchmount Drive and Cedar Bend Place will be restricted between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on weekdays from July 6, 2022 until approximately July 22, 2022.

Access to Laurelwood Drive from Birchmount Drive and Cedar Bend Place will be permitted via Cedar Bend Drive. Traffic control measures will be in place during working hours. Laurelwood Drive will be fully opened to all traffic on a nightly basis when construction crews are not on site.

Residents and visitors of Brookmill Crescent and Brookmill Place:

Access to Laurelwood Drive from the west leg of Brookmill Crescent (between Laurelwood Drive and Beaverwood Street) will be restricted between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on weekdays from July 6, 2022 until approximately August 5, 2022.

Access to Laurelwood Drive from Brookmill Crescent and Brookmill Place will be permitted via Beaverwood Street and the east leg of Brookmill Crescent. Traffic control measures will be in place during working hours. Laurelwood Drive will be fully opened to all traffic on a nightly basis when construction crews are not on site.
