Kaufman Park multi-sport courts
This consultation has concluded. Staff reviewed the survey results, which show the most preferred option is to maintain the Kaufman Park courts as a shared space, lined for both tennis and pickleball with a fixed net height of 35 inches. Staff also heard that cross wind can be a challenge at Kaufman, so wind nets are being considered for 2021.

The City of Kitchener is working on a Court Strategy in 2021 to inform the use, development and management of multi-use courts across the city. Community members will be invited to participate in further public engagement about the strategy when it becomes available. If you'd like to be notified when that engagement beings, register for email notifications about engagement opportunities at https://www.engagewr.ca/.
