Official Plan and Zoning By-law amendments now in effect
On Thursday, May 30, 2024, the Region of Waterloo advised that there were no appeals of the Official Plan Amendment for the Enabling Four Units project. The Official Plan and Zoning By-law amendments are now in full force and effect. On Monday, March 25, 2024, Kitchener Council unanimously approved new Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendments. These enable up to four dwelling units on residential lots in Kitchener.
