A new neighbourhood spray pad is coming to Eastbridge Green!

This spray pad will be one of four distributed across the city to provide more accessible summer activities for children, as outlined in the Recreation and Leisure Services Master Plan.

Spring 2024 update

This project is currently in its final approval phase from the site plan and utility providers. Once approved, the project will be tendered and awarded to a contractor who will begin construction. The targeted opening date is still set for Spring/Summer 2025!

Thank you to everyone who voted for the spray pad design at Eastbridge Green. We received close to 600 votes and the winning design is Option 1. This design includes a pirate ship with a nest, a sea monster and small tipping buckets. There are a variety of spray features, including directional jets and misters. All of the water play elements are controlled and activated with a push-button activator.
The tendering of this project will happen this fall, with construction taking place between winter and spring.
The new spray pad will be set to open in the summer of 2024!
