What we heard about the final design option

Thank you to those of you who joined us this summer at the open house on July 24, 2024, and those who responded to the design survey for Country Hills Park. It was great to hear your feedback on the final design.

Common Themes

• Plantings: You were supportive of the planting plan which includes more native plants and trees
• Amenities: You expressed a desire for more seating and garbage bins, and shared what playground equipment would best suit the community’s needs
• Accessibility: We heard about the importance of accessible and well-connected trails, particularly at the entrance from Country Hill Drive
• Safety: You expressed concerns about the safety of wetland design
