Kick off summer with us July 5

Join us on Friday, July 5 from 1 to 3:30 p.m.to kick off summer and celebrate the official launch of the Community Canopy program!

There will be tree games, face painting, refreshments and more. Stop by to learn about the project and how you can help increase the tree canopy in this neighbourhood. It's free to attend, please register so we can plan to have enough for everyone.

This project is now complete. With your help, we planted a total of 154 new trees in the Chandler Mowat neighbourhood. We will plant another 70 trees in the neighbourhood beginning in 2025. For more information on City of Kitchener tree maintenance and planting, visit kitchener.ca
