Next Steps
If the City and Grand River Conservation Authority decide to move ahead with creating a Two-Zone Policy Area, the results of this study will be presented to the Grand River Conservation Authority’s Board for endorsement and will be used to amend the Grand River Conservation Authority’s regulated area mapping. The results of this study would then be used to amend the floodplain mapping in the City’s Official Plan and Zoning By-law.
