Partnership Evaluation

The University of Waterloo completed a partnership evaluation of the ADC Steering Committee to:

  • Look at how to build partnerships
  • Learn how to work with community to design projects together

Researchers from the University of Waterloo held focus groups with Public Health and Paramedic Services staff and 17 one-on-one interviews with ADC Steering Committee members. The summary report is available here.

Integrated Crisis Centre

Thresholds Homes and Supports and the Canadian Mental Health Association Waterloo Wellington’s opened the Integrated Crisis Centre to assist with emergency room diversion. Thresholds and CMHAWW have applied for funding to expand the Integrated Crisis Centre services. With expanded services, the Centre could become an alternate destination for paramedic transport.
