An application for a proposed Zone Change has been submitted for the lands owned by 881 Weber Inc. and located at 881 Weber Street North, in the Township of Woolwich. A public meeting regarding this application will be held on July 16, 2024 at 7 pm.
Application Details
The subject lands, comprising 28 ha in area, are located at 881 Weber Street North with frontage on Weber Street North, Lobsinger Line and Apple Grove Road. An approximate 5.6 ha portion of the property, fronting on Weber Street North, is within the Urban Area of the Stockyards Land Use, designated Industrial / Commercial and Natural Hazards and zoned Agricultural and Stockyards Industrial Commercial (ST-2) with a holding provision. The balance of the property, fronting onto Apple Grove Road and Lobsinger Line, being approximately 22.4 ha, are designated Protected Countryside and Prime Agricultural Area and are zoned Agricultural.
The applicant is proposing a site specific zone change amendment for an approximate 2.4 ha portion of the lands fronting onto Apple Grove Road / Lobsinger Line to permit an agricultural-related use, being an orchard processing operation with farm-related residential units.
