Waterloo Fire Master Plan survey

Waterloo Fire Rescue, funded through city property taxes, provides community-based education, prevention and emergency response services that contribute to public safety and quality of life. The Fire Master Plan is a document that will guide the growth of fire protection services for the next 10 years, providing recommendations to help Council meet our community’s changing needs for public education, fire prevention and fire suppression services. This will guide Waterloo Fire Rescue's work to prevent, prepare for and respond to matters associated with fire safety and risk as our community grows and changes over the next 10 years.

At the end of the survey, please include your name and contact information if you would like to be entered for a chance to win a guided tour for you and your family and friends of one of our fire stations!

The survey will be open through February 10, 2023.

Individual survey responses will not immediately be made available publicly, but your feedback (including overall results of polls and surveys, and in some instances, unidentifiable and randomly chosen quotes or comments from surveys) may be published in publicly available reports at the end of the consultation period. Please note, if you choose to provide personal information in your comments, it will be available for City staff reviewing responses to this survey. Responses to surveys are subject to Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. M.56 (as amended) and can be a part of a Freedom of Information request.
