Help Shape the Future of the Region of Waterloo Library Services
The Region of Waterloo Library (RWL) is conducting a service review to ensure our libraries continue to meet the needs of all residents. Whether you’re a frequent visitor or an occasional user, we want your input on how to improve our services. Your feedback will help shape the next 2025-2029 Service Plan, which will guide our services in the years to come.
Goals of the Review
- Improve accessibility to library services for all community members.
- Review and update programming to better serve residents of all ages.
- Assess current operating hours and determine if changes are needed.
- Align services with community needs while addressing any barriers to access.

- Join a Focus Group:We’ll be hosting focus groups in each of the four townships. Click on your preferred option and register through Eventbrite:
- Youth Survey: the youngest members of our community will have the opportunity to shape their library’s future! Paper copies can be completed in all 11 ROW library branches in four townships.
What is a library service review?
The purpose of the Library Service Review is the process to assess and enhance the services provided by the Region of Waterloo Library (RWL). This review will be informed by community input, especially within the 4 townships where the 11 library branches are located, and in collaboration with area municipalities. Reports and decision making will be directed by the Region of Waterloo Library Committee and Region of Waterloo Council.
