Reimagining Doon Heritage Village - Public Survey
“If you want to know the future, look at the past.” — Albert Einstein
Doon Heritage Village is a 60 acre living history museum that opened in 1957. Since its inception, Doon Heritage Village has shared what life was like in Waterloo Region, for some settler communities, in the year 1914.
Region of Waterloo Museums & Archives is developing a new Interpretative Plan to expand the experiences and stories of Doon Heritage Village. This living history site is reviewing thematic, design, and technological upgrades to ensure the unique stories of Waterloo Region residents and history are told - and we would love your input.
Planning for the future of Doon Heritage Village, we turn to the community to reflect on what we can learn from the past to understand our current experience and to shape those of the future.
This survey is live from March 18, 2024 - April 18, 2024. Thank you for your contribution to this project!
