The purpose of the noise bylaw review and update are to better understand the needs of the community to ensure the noise bylaw stays relevant and effective. Since its last update in 2017, Waterloo has experienced new growth and changes in its communities. The City wants to gather information about new noise sources, emerging challenges, outdated regulations and/or exemptions. Community input will be used to help create a harmonious environment for residents and businesses.
