Let’s welcome Margaret Ave Park!

Have you heard? The neighbourhood is expecting a new park! It’s coming to the southeast corner of Margaret Avenue North and Neilson Avenue.

The City of Waterloo is working with SHIFT Landscape Architecture to weave your ideas into a park that reflects your needs and honours the neighbourhood’s history. This will be a brand-new space for the neighbourhood, creating important parkland and bringing a variety of activities and features to the community.

Through engagement, we hope to learn about the local community and understand how Margaret Ave Park can fit seamlessly into the neighbourhood.

About Margaret Ave Park

Margaret Ave Park will bring a new park space to the Lincoln Heights neighbourhood. It will be located at the intersection of Margaret Avenue North and Neilson Avenue with an approximate area of 0.25 hectares.
