Potential Herbert Street changes

We have already heard from some residents on Herbert Street regarding possibilities for changes to the street during this reconstruction project. There are some changes that must be incorporated, such as wider sidewalks to meet provincial accessibility requirements. Other possibilities, such as contraflow bike lanes (bike lanes that allow two-way bike traffic on a one-way street) are being considered, but may involve a tradeoff with other street elements, such as some tree loss, or the loss of on-street parking.
