The City of Cambridge is developing a new Strategic Plan to help shape the future of our city. From September through November 2026, the City will offer a variety of opportunities for residents to share their ideas and opinions.
We want to make it easy for everyone to participate. You can get involved through in-person events, online surveys, targeted sessions for specific groups, and activities offered through existing City programs. Events will be held at various times and locations across Cambridge to help reduce barriers and ensure more people can participate.
Your feedback will help guide future decisions, priorities, and investments in our community. We hope you will take this opportunity to ensure the experiences and needs of residents, businesses, and community partners are reflected in the conversation. As a valued member of our community, your ideas and experiences are important. We encourage you to get involved and help shape Cambridge's future.
Staff attended community events throughout the fall to connect directly with community members. Through participation in seven events across Cambridge, staff engaged with more than 2,000 residents and visitors. The feedback collected will help inform upcoming in-person Community Focus Sessions and support Council in developing the Strategic Plan.
