Application to amend zoning for 333 Albert Street

Changes to the Zoning By-law for this location are required before a permit can be issued. This means that they submit an application that is reviewed by city planners and other agencies plus city council before anything can be built.

The Planning Partnership is proposing to construct a 6-storey mixed-use development with a proposed building floor area of 1,497 square metres, consisting of 85 dwelling units (85 bedrooms), 33 vehicle parking spaces, and 365 square metres of commercial space.

A Zoning By-law Amendment is required in order to amend the City’s Zoning By-law by removing the “H” Holding provision from the subject lands. The lands will be rezoned from “(Holding) Residential Northdale Six” ((H)RN-6) to “Residential Northdale Six (RN-6).

Approval of this application will help final approval of site plan application (SP-23-03). The holding provision ensures that planning objectives for the property are met.
