The City of Cambridge is conducting a thorough study to revise its Cemetery Master Plan. This plan will help shape how City cemeteries are developed, operated, cared for, and maintained in the future. The analysis will help the City understand what the community needs for burials and memorials and ensure that there is enough space and resources available to support families for the next 25 years.

How to get Involved:

Take the survey from May 6-19, 2024. Your input will help us understand what you want, need, and prefer for the city's cemeteries. Your thoughts and ideas will shape the future of our cemeteries and the City’s Cemetery Master Plan.

The survey will collect your feedback on eight cemeteries the City manages. They are categorized as follows:

Active cemeteries still offering sales and interments:

  • Parklawn Cemetery
  • New Hope Cemetery
  • Mountview Cemetery
  • St. Mary’s Cemetery

Semi-active Cemeteries (burials for lots already purchased):

  1. Preston Cemetery
  2. Zion Cemetery

Non-active Cemeteries (visitation only):

  1. Freeport Cemetery
  2. St. Andrew’s Park Cemetery
